Workshop venue

The workshop will be held in the Executive Seminar Room in Moore Annexe on the Royal Holloway campus. Click here for a map of the campus.

Booking accommodation

We recommend the rooms in the Gowar Hall on the Royal Holloway campus, a five minute walk from the Moore Annexe. To book accommodation, please:

You can pick up your keys at the Hub (from 14:00).

If you arrive on Sunday night, please come to the Hub between 17:30 and 18:00. Some of the organizers will be there to organize a group to walk to a local restaurant.

Internet access

The workshop participants have been given the user name and password for use on the Campus net system. This provides you with wireless internet access in the meeting room, MX01, and other wireless areas, such as the Hub, Crossland's, Computer Centre. Wired internet access is possible in your bedrooms using the same user name and password, but you will need to use an ethernet cable.

Travelling to the Royal Holloway campus

For travel directions, please click here. If you are arriving at Heathrow and would like to come by taxi, it is much cheaper to use a local taxi company such as Gemini Cars (phone number 01784 471111, or +44 1784 471111 if calling from abroad).

If you are arriving by car, please send Vladimir Vovk the following information (ideally, at least a week before your arrival): car make, colour, and registration number; the dates of your visit. We will then arrange a reserved parking space for you.

Workshop dinner

The workshop dinner will start at 20:00 (Large and Small Boardrooms, Founder's Building) on Tuesday. It will be preceeded by a drinks reception (19:30).
